Are there specific days I should advertise?
Definitely. You might just want to make yourself known to potential customers, or you might want to reach people when they’re in a mindset to buy. We have all the data on how and when listeners use radio, and will design your schedule to reach them effectively.
What length ads should I have?
Most ads are 30 seconds’ duration – but your business might need ads that are shorter, or longer.The duration should be driven by the creative content of your ad, and how your message is delivered.
How long should my radio campaign run?
It depends. Do you want to keep your business humming long-term? Or do you have a short-term goal, like an offer or launch?
Radio is flexible, we can offer a number of intergrated solutions to meet your objectives, either long term, or short. We have successful business who’ve been on air for decades, and others, who have had fantastic short term launches and promotional campaigns.
Can I change my ads?
Yes – you can change your ads on air at any stage. Just make sure your message is always consistent. Your business’ brand is like a personality – and changing it too radically can confuse people!
Should I use different ads on different stations?
You can play different ads for different regions – if there is local branch or contact info – or you can vary your message according to the TRN station’s audience. Just be sure all of your ads are delivering a consistent message, and don’t contradict each other.

Independent researchers collect audience and listening data across New Zealand on a regular basis. The results of these surveys give us data on listener numbers and listening habits.
